Happy New Year!

Congratulations to Winexpert!
Making your own wine doesn't mean that it has to be a second-class brew! Great tasting wine begins with great ingredients and good advice - particularly on how long to age your choice of wine! When it comes to product, we recommend
Winexpert Wine Kits. Not only do they offer a wide assortment of kits and price ranges - but they continue to win awards for their high quality product.

Winexpert recently announced that six of their wine kits were named the "top wine kit in its varietal category" of the top 100 wine kits in the December Issue of WineMaker Magazine. The winning kits came from the Selection Estate and Selection International Series: Selection Estate Lodi Ranch 11 Cabernet Sauvignon, Selection Estate Stag's Leap Merlot, Selection International New Zealand Pinot Noir, Selection International Australian Chardonnay, Selection International Italian Pinot Grigio and Selection Original Liebfraumilch.

That's what we've come to expect from Winexpert wine kits - award winning quality. Start with wine kits from the winner's circle...

Starting January 23 - It's a World Vineyard Early Spring Promotion

Winexpert's World Vineyard Wine Kits will have feature pricing starting January 23rd. The World Vineyard Vintners Reserve Collection includes wines from Australia, California, South America and Europe. These versatile wines are perfect to enjoy and also offer a variety of distinct flavours. They don't require extended aging, and are usually ready to drink in four to five weeks. Watch for our e-flyer January 22nd! Bring it with you for a special discount!

Are you ready for Superbowl Sunday - February 5th?

Whatever your Superbowl moment is – frankly we like the commercials – treat your guests to your own "Superbowl Beer". You can brew at home using one of our kits from Coopers or Muntons or brew with us. We'll help you pick a beer recipe and then maybe suggest a special ingredient - just for the personal touch. And the best part? Beer only takes two weeks to brew!

Shorter brewing time. Great tasting beer at an affordable price. Make-your-own-beer and football - does it get any better?

And our final wine thought...

Last month we directed you to a video demonstrating how to remove a broken cork from a wine bottle. It never occurred to us that perhaps you'd like to know how to remove a cork like a real sommelier! That means not holding it between your feet, poking someone in the eye when pulling-out the cork or cursing...  Check out this video.. with wine expert, Kevin Zraly as he explains to Delish's Elizabeth Shepard how to open a bottle of wine correctly...
